MKsafety® - MK0141 - Low top breathable mesh and black leather work boots-4

Safety shoes refer to safety shoes, protective shoes and some functional footwear collectively, generally refer to shoes worn in different workplaces to protect the soles and legs from foreseeable injuries. There are many kinds of it. Do you know what?

1. Electrically insulating shoes

The insulating effect of electrically insulating shoes is to reduce the damage of electric shock. Since the inrush current flows into the human body through some non-insulating objects, it not only wears insulating gloves during electrical engineering operations, but also wears electrically insulating shoes. According to the voltage range, there are several standard insulated shoes of 20kV, 6kV and 5kV, and the use should be selected according to the working range. Shoes should be inspected and maintained regularly. If they are damp or severely worn, they may not be able to protect them and need to be replaced in time.

2. Protect toe safety shoes

Toe protection safety shoes are mainly used to prevent objects from smashing the foot and toes. For example, when carrying heavy objects or loading and unloading materials, rolling drums, heavy pipes hit your feet or accidentally kicked sharp metal plates, etc., the front cover of the shoe is lined with a metal material toe cap with good impact resistance, high strength and light weight . The strength and impact resistance of the steel toe cap must meet the specified standards before it can be used. We have to choose different strength toe protection safety shoes according to the working weight.

3. Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes

Anti-static shoes are used to prevent damage to the human body caused by static electricity, and to avoid electric shock damage to the human body caused by 220V power frequency conversion capacitor equipment. Conductive shoes are more sensitive to the human body, and static electricity may occur in fire or explosion places. Some of these shoes are safety shoes and rubber shoes with anti-static or conductive soles. The whole shoes do not use metal materials to reduce the possibility of friction and fire. The resistance of the shoe must be tested from the beginning. After that, regular testing is required to ensure the functionality of the shoes.

4. Rubber boots

According to the purpose, it can be divided into acid and alkali resistant boots, waterproof boots, oil resistant boots, etc. Acid and alkali resistant boots are suitable for places with corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis on the work floor. They are made of acid and alkali resistant rubber. They are also acid and alkali resistant pants and boots connected together. The basic material is rubber, such as waterproof boots for miners, special boots for aquatic products, transplanting boots, etc. Oil-resistant shoes are used for work with oil on the ground, made of rubber or polyethylene plastic, including boots, shoes, etc.

5. Steel-making shoes and shoe covers

Such shoes are also called cast shoes, mainly to prevent foot burns and perforations. This kind of shoes should be resistant to pressure and high temperature. The upper is made of oil-impregnated cowhide and canvas leather, and the sole is made of cowhide lining the tire bottom. In order to prevent metal liquid scalds, waist-high and easy-to-detach methods are adopted. Shoe covers can also be used to cover shoe mouths, trouser legs, and shoe covers are made of canvas, asbestos, and aluminum film.
